Description
Jazz Supreme JS-705: DUKE ELLINGTON Live From The Hotel Sherman, Chicago Volume 2
We are continuing with our listing of scarce Ellington LPs. We are presuming that most Ellington collectors who would be interested in these will have some details of these issues. So to speed up listing and offer the maximum number of records, we have kept each individual listing as brief as possible. HOWEVER, PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO GET IN TOUCH AND ASK WHATEVER EXTRA QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE ABOUT TUNE TITLES, PERSONNEL, RECORDING DATES ETC..
INFORMATION: This scarce Italian LP - one of a pair -contains music broadcast from this famous Chicago hotel during September/October 1940. This appears to be the only standard vinyl issue for most of this material.
CONDITION/DESCRIPTION: The disc is E+ (VG++) with some very light scuffs/scratches only, visible under a bright 'grading' light. The cover is E (VG+), with some minor surface rubbing/scratching and corner damage/edge rubbing. There is quite a lot of surface dirt/staining both front and back.
(If you want any other details, please ask.)
