Maroon label with hand etched "RVG" both sides. No printing on spine. "56 Ferry Street, Newark, N.J. 07105" address on back cover.
The record looks VG++/M- and plays VG++ to M-. Record plays nicely and quietly. 2 scuffs app 1/2 inch each on Side 1 Track 1 which do not affect play. No scratches. Grooves do not show any wear or damage.
The cover is VG+.
The front cover is shiny with very light wear and dents at the bottom of pocket and top of the spine. At top, there is some not too areas where the slick is slightly bent over to make a ridge. The back cover has light wear with dent at bottom of the pocket. No split seams but seams and spine have wear spots.. Small spots of denting and wear at the corners.
IN SEPTEMBER, I WILL BACK AND BE RUNNING MONTHLY AUCTIONS OF 50s and 60s JAZZ LPS INC BLUE NOTE, PRESTIGE, NEW JAZZ RIVERSIDE etc. MANY WEEKS AND MANY NICE ITEMS TO COME.
My highest grade is M- and I rarely grade 50s or 60s records M-. Records are graded visually using the Goldmine system. M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- etc. I play grade any potential problem areas. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. You will be satisfied. No hassles.
