 A painter, musician, and intellectual prodigy, Jean-Michel Basquiat refined his sound and painterly aesthetic at the age of 20. During the 1970s, Jean-Michel Basquiat was the first artist of African decent to attain international recognition. Jean-Michel emerged from the "Punk" segment of New York City, as a young & groundbreaking graffiti artist. Basquiat's image symbolizes how counter-culture & graffiti artists became fully embraced by the international art circuit. 
Published in 2013 featuring some lost original recordings of this legendary downtown group along with samples of Basquiat’s music and voice Hand Signed and numbered by fellow members Nick Taylor & Michael Holman
