Description

ARTIST - JEAN-MAX CLEMENT TITLE - BACH: SIX SUITES FOR UNACCOMPANIED CELLO LABEL - LONDON/EDITIONS DE L'OISEAU LYRE CATALOG NO  - OL 50186/7
RECORD GRADING - EXCELLENT COVER GRADING - VG(strong)
The cover is all intact. No splits. It does have a bit of age and shelf wear. I was on the fence about grading it higher, but I like to be conservative. Someone wrote 1960 below mono on the back, and there is another small pen mark as well. Very close to VG+ ! Original inner audiophile sleeves are all intact but has some ruffling.
The records are graded as excellent. They have bright shiny gloss and no scratches. Low spindle wear. There are a few minor scuff marks. Playback is clear most of the time, there are some moments of light clicks. I listened to all of Side One, most of Side Four, and samples of Two and Three, on my Audio Technica turntable with AudioEngine speakers.
Here are the dead wax stampers:
Side One - TT-461-1L Side Four - TT-464-1L Side Two - TT-462-2L Side Three - TT-463-1L
This is the original first press of this classic classical recording.  U.S. bidders only on this one.
thanks for looking.
Shipping: Combined Shipping:  I can combine shipping!  Many times it means I can ship up to 3 LP's U.S. for the same cost as one, and possibly more 45's.   International bidders - Combined shipping will be only based on weight, so I will need to know how many items are bought before sending invoice.  International Shipping:  I ship using e-Bays's International Standard Delivery.  This sends the item to a shipping center in the U.S. and they send it off from there.  If you would like to change the shipping preference please let me know.    And as always, I do not change values on customs labels. Thank you.

VJ'S VINYL GRADING SYSTEM: (based on Goldmine)  Mint - never used, once a record is opened, the top you can get is mint minus. Mint Minus - A great record, one or two fine hairline scuffs, sounds flawless. A mint minus record can "play" mint. Covers are new looking, may have shrink. Excellent - Can have faint hairline scuffs that do no affect play. Can have very minor infrequent crackling. Minor bumps in the cover. VG+ - Scuffs can be more prevalent, with a little more surface noise. If it visually has more scuffs but plays great, I will note that. Still, a very fine and playable copy. Covers have minor age and shelf wear.  VG - Can have lots of hairline scuffs, and maybe one or two scratches. Surface noise more prevalent with some popping in spots. Covers have more extensive age and shelf wear. Minor splits. VG minus - More in the way of scratches and surface noise is NOT infrequent. Still, a viable copy. Covers may have splits.  G+ - only reserved for a very rare or popular record. Very noisy, maybe some skips, scratches are evident. Covers are trashed.  STILL SEALED - I will grade the vinyl as "still sealed." That means it's probably mint minus, but I do not know if there was any factory defects.  Hairline scuffs -  light yet visible. Cannot be felt with the skin of your finger.  (I cannot fathom feeling it with your fingernail as described in Goldmine...why would you do that?) Scratches - Can be felt. If I am on the fence between grades, I will go with the lower one.  I will not use VG++ etc., but will say that a record is a "strong" VG+.  Age wear - on a cover is either fading or yellowing.  Shelf wear - is ring wear, corner bumps, or fraying
