Description

Jeff Beck - Truth - EMI SCX 6293  1968 1st Pressing ??(bidders decide)(Stereo)

Matrix/stampers  Side 1 YAX 3706-1  1G    Side 2  YAX 3707-1  1G

The Jeff Beck group with Rod Stewart on vocals at a time before he sold out to namby pamby Maggie May pop songs. This is the Stewart with the gravelled drive larynx rocking like a good 'un. With Ronnie Wood on bass and Nicky Hopkins appearing on piano. This is an all time classic example of early heavy rock of the era. Jeff Beck blazing a trail. One slightly heavier graze on side one last track

Vinyl: Both sides Very Good+. Some very light surface scuff and hairline marks not affecting play. One slightly deeper graze on last track of side one but also inaudible.

Dustcover: EMI promo style in excellent condition.

Labels: Excellent ++ Colombia Blue/Black. See photo. Hardly any spindle marks. Both sides have two short names printed small and neat but in black on the black label so hardly visible.

Cover: Front laminated, some dull patches and disc rim pressure mark with a shallow laminate blister in same place. Back clean but has a name and address printed small and neat near top left. Seams and spine show hardly any signs of wear and only very slight wear to corners.

Tracks: Side 1 Shapes of things, Let me love you, Morning dew, You shook me, Ol' man river. Side 2 Greensleeves, Rock my plimsoul, Beck's bolero, Blues de luxe, I Ain't superstitious.

I am not a dealer. I am a private seller gradually disposing of my vinyl collection.  Please note that, whilst it is rare for items to be lost or damaged in the post I am unable to accept responsibility for any loss or damage by the postal services. Whilst I am happy to provide help, advice and proof of postage, all such claims remain the responsibility of the buyer. All items sold for more than £39 will be subject to an extra charge for 'signed for' posting (This is not usually very expensive) if buyer requires package to be covered for compensation to cover the, unlikely, loss in the post an extra charge will have to be added. If compensation cover is required buyers should contact me so that the full cost can be invoiced.

Postal charge increases take effect on sales after1st April. These are reflected in charge quoted but may be subject to a surcharge if extra special packaging is requested.
