Description
Up for auction is Jeff Beck/the Jeff Beck Group's debut lp album - Truth. This is one of the best sleeper early hard rock albums, containing Rod Stewart and Ron Wood (I'm sure if you're here you know this!). This is an original 1968 US press on Epic. However, it is also a Monaural (MONO) White Label Promotional Copy, which is exceedingly rare. This is the only version in the US that was released in Mono.
Condition/description is below: The lp is in EX condition, looks pretty much unplayed with a few very light marks on each side, none feelable. i try to grade strictly and I don't see this lp being anything lower than EX. Beautiful shine, and was handled very carefully and not played much. (I didn't play test as my toddler just broke my needle.) The label is also white with the Promo designation on each side. I tried to get a good sense of the appearance of the lp in the pics.
The Jacket is VG (again strict), it has light ringwear and some aging marks, and the top left corner is a little banged up. Epic Mono sticker is at the top. Spine fully readable, no splitting, although the back slick has come a bit loose on the bottom edge and there is more noticeable wear there. The back cover is stamped in red "Demonstration Copy Not For Sale".
I will ship anywhere in the US and offer the Global Shipping Program as well. Feel free to ask questions!
