Original UK 1978 pressing of Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds on CBS Records (S CBS 82671), featuring Richard Burton, David Essex, Justin Hayward, Phil Lynott, and Julie Covington. This complete 2LP set comes in its iconic gatefold sleeve (EX condition) with the original 16-page booklet in NM condition. Both vinyl records are EX, showing only light surface marks with strong audio playback. Matrix runouts are A4, B2, C2, and D4, confirming an early pressing. A landmark progressive rock/orchestral concept album, this remains highly collectible for fans of sci-fi soundtracks, prog rock, and classic concept albums.
