Description
Up for sale is Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds 2 Record Vinyl Box from 1978. This belonged to my late father who had a pretty extensive vinyl collection which I will be going through gradually so check my listings.
Box contents - Information booklet with track listing and artwork. Double Vinyl slipcase, two vinyl records. May be missing some items from original set.
Unfortunately I do not have a record player to test the vinyl so I will do my best to describe the condition visually. I won't be using the standard grading systems as I really don't have enough experience in vinyl and would not want to mislead someone. Please keep this in mind when purchasing and be sure to check out the images for a better idea of condition. Any questions feel free to ask and I will be happy to help wherever I can. I am always willing to consider reasonable offers.
Box has shelf wear and some damage. Vinyl 1 appears to have a few scratches but nothing super deep. Vinyl 2 appears okay. Both records likely have fine scratches that I can't spot as the record is well played. I can not play test the vinyl unfortunately. Both records will need a clean. Item belonged to my late father so may have some pipe tobacco odour as he smoked a pipe. Item has been priced to account for these issues.
Once again, feel free to contact me with any questions. I am not a vinyl collector or an expert but I will help wherever I can. Items will be sent with Royal Mail.
