Description
Jefferson Airplane, Crown of Creation 1968 Vinyl LP ORIGINAL MASTER RECORDING Limited Edition #0456 Original Mo-Fi record sleeve included
ABOUT THE RECORD
Crown of Creation, by the San Francisco psychedelic rock band, Jefferson Airplane, continues its development of psychedelic music which began with their previous album, After Bathing at Baxter's. The group had also been dabbling in electric rock with some references to science fiction intertwined in their messages. It would prove to be the pinnacle of The Airplane's psychedelic experimentation, for their next studio album, Volunteers, explored more into country rock and hard rock. Upon release, the album peaked at #6 on the Billboard Pop Charts and was eventually certified gold. The opening single, Greasy Heart, became a modest hit on the Hot 100 charts. Even though the album brought the band back into the Top 10, it remains Jefferson Airplane's most overlooked work.CONDITION: Record and sleeve are in Like New condition. Bottom left corner of sleeve shows minor edge wear, no other marks on the sleeve or record. See photos.
Sold as untested, unsure of sound quality. Sold like this as I don't have time to listen to each record as I have over 1,000 LP records to sell. This is an estate item; selling exactly as I got it. Item is sold "As Is" and unfortunately I cannot accept returns. Please view all photos carefully and contact me with any questions before buying.
