Description
I play all my records from beginning to end prior to auction on my Garrard 401 record player using a Shure V15 cartridge.
Here I have a copy of the Jefferson Airplane 1967 release ' Surrealistic pillow'.
The record is the rare first US mono pressing on the black RCA Victor labels. Cat no LPM 3766 The matrix TPRM 4892-1S-H TPRM4893-1S-H.
Grading :
The heavy carded cover is in VG+ condition, with mild wear around the extremities although the spine text can just about be made out.
The record is in EX condition. Under light there is signs of play with the odd whispy hairlines either side. The sound is excellent, even during the frequent quieter moments, with no serious issues and it plays brightly from start to finish. Side 1 track 3 has the 'Skip Spence' credit. The labels are very clean.
Of course this release comes with the classic tracks 'Plastic Fantastic Lover' and 'White Rabbit' which are both not found on the UK release.
If your the winning bidder could you please wait for invoice since the final price may mean I need to charge added postage. If your bidding from outside the UK I will only post via Track and signed methods with a price ranging from £15 - £25 depending on country and value of item. I will charge £25 in the first instance and refund any excess.
I'm selling lots more lps over the coming months from artists like Jimi Hendrix , The Beatles , Cream , The Rolling Stones, The Who , The Yardbirds , The Small Faces , Van Morrison , The Grateful Dead , Jefferson Airplane , Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention , Fleetwood Mac , Led Zeppelin , Deep Purple , Black Sabbath , Oasis , Nirvana , Blur , etc plus lots of rare one-off lps.
