Description
This is RCA Victor Records LPM-3584 RE, Jefferson Airplane Takes Off, a black. deep groove label, mono issue of their first record. This is the censored 11 track issue. The record is visually in near mint condition showing almost no signs of wear. The record plays quietly throughout. I'm pretty certain it had never been played or been played only once before I play graded it. The original cover has clear tape on the top seam but is otherwise excellent and intact. The labels are excellent and show no spindle marks. An original inner sleeve is included. Some contemporaneous articles and reviews collected by the original owner are included. This is a superb, archive, collector's grade copy of this rare mono issue. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.
