Description
This is an extremely rare promo copy of the original release of Jefferson Airplane - After Bathing At Baxter's, released on RCA Victor in 1967. This was a radio station copy, which belonged to WNIA radio.
The record is in VERY GOOD++ condition. It plays wonderfully with only the most minor of crackling (This is practically unnoticable once the songs get going; only noticeable in-between songs) The vinyl exhibits only 1 small scratch on side 2, has a few fingerprint marks, and a few scuffs. NONE OF THESE ELEMENTS AFFECT PLAYBACK IN THE SLIGHTEST; THEY ARE PURELY COSMETIC BLEMISHES. The labels look fantastic, with only side 2 showing a couple fingerprint marks.
The jacket is in VERY GOOD++ condition. There is minimal edge and face wear. There is no ring wear. WNIA is written nine times on the rear face, alongside the date 12/12/67. The NOT FOR SALE PROMOTIONAL COPY stamp can be seen in the top left corner of the rear face. This is in overall extremely good condition, considering it was handled by a radio station.
The original inner sleeve is included and is in NEAR MINT condition. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it; it is in perfect condition.
For safety, the record will be shipped in a new, high quality, plastic lined inner sleeve. The original inner sleeve will be included, but not used.
This is a fantastically rare recording of a legendary sixties rock band, worthy of any collector's shelf space.
