Description

Extremely rare recordings of two great Jelly Roll Morton piano solos: "Jelly Roll Blues" and "Big Foot Ham" on Silvertone 4038. These were issued in the 1920s from leased Gennett masters and are as rare (or more rare) than the Gennetts! Both sides play strong and audibly satisfying in about V+ with lite surface noise. There is just slightly more surface noise audible in the first 3 or 4 grooves of the Jelly Roll Blues (not bad, just noticeable) and there is the slightest, faintest shadow of a tiny LAM that has no affect whatsoever on the JRB side that is small and just over the rim. Both sides play very well, and are incredible additions to any collection! 78 rpm.Buyer pays shipping $4.00 in USA. Mich residents must pay 6% sales tax. Insurance is extra, when requested. Multiple orders (up to three 78 records for $4.00 in USA) can be combined to save you money on shipping! Satisfaction guaranteed!

Overseas customers PLEASE NOTE: Ebay estimates of shipping ARE NOT ACCURATE! please wait for invoice, generally one 78 rpm record to Europe is just under $20.00.
