Description
Original Motion Picture Soundtrack recording by John Rubinstein and Tim McIntire to the Warner Bros. film "Jeremiah Johnson" starring Robert Redford.
Rare, Vinyl LP is in VG+ to NM- condition. Yes, there are some clicks to it, but this is a very listenable record and is graded conservatively and fairly. Listened to the record before listing, and I made a cassette recording of it years ago, and it is very very good.
The Jacket is NM and in beautiful condition; very suitable for framing if so desired. The only real flaw is the price sticker residue from a previous store location, where it was purchased, many years ago. This is barely recognizable to the right of the notation for "Side One" on the back cover.

Music is a combination of the orchestral recordings for the film, various versions of the "Song" as they were in the film, along with spoken excerpts. The song and the excerpts are not "stand-alone" clips, as in some soundtrack recordings. If you are a fan of the film, you will not only recognize these passages, but love the manner in which these are integrated into the overall recording, recalling their use in the movie.
Since my purchase many years ago, record has been kept in a protective plastic sleeve, inside an enclosed entertainment center, in a smoke free home.
Ships in 1-2 days from a private collection, in that plastic sleeve and inside a cardboard LP mailing box.
