Jerome Richardson Midnight Oil New Jazz 8205 RVG in dead wax
Picked this gem up with a batch of other fine rare jazz records that belong to a local Doctor who loved jazz and took care of his collection. Reasonable offers are welcome. :)
VINYL=Side 1 Strong VG visually. Plays EX. High gloss shine with some scattered very fine paper scuffs. These are merely cosmetic. I've played this a few times and it sounds excellent with an occasional light pop or crackle in a quiet part but nothing that interferes with the listening experience. Nice center labels. Side 2 Again, high end of VG High gloss shine with just a few more marks than side 1. There is some very light crackle in the lead in groove but then the music kicks in and plays excellent throughout with an occasional pop mostly in the last track. This is an amazing record. I know VG can possibly scare some buyers off but I want to be conservative. Great player and more than adequate to all but the absolute pickiest of Mint collectors.
COVER=EX Excellent condition with no writing, no splits, no drill holes or cut corners Still crisp and clean. The front has a few smudges and creases but that's about it. The corners are getting a bit soft. There is a touch of bowing on the open side edge but not severe. Basic shelf lean. The vinyl is still flat with no warps. The back side shows some off white age wear but still looks great. Has a small price sticker on the bottom left corner. Please see pics for more details.
