The Jerry Byrd Instruction Course for Steel Guitar – A Complete Study for the Serious Student

This is a 333 page course enclosed in a 3 inch binder, number 132. This book is truly a piece of history and is in very good to excellent condition. It is a complete course for the serious lap steel student. I purchased this book several months ago, and I was hoping if anyone could help or teach me how to play the lap steel, Jerry Byrd would be it. After spending many hours with this book, I have come to realize, I am not a string instrument person, I can play a pretty good sax or clarinet and not bad on the piano, but I play bad guitar. I have admired Jerry Byrd’s playing for years.

I am putting this wonderful book back on the market and I hope someone else will cherish and enjoy it as I have. As you see in one of the pictures, the cassette tapes are missing.
