Description
For auction is a very well looked after RSD, that is the 5 LP version of the original 3 CD set 'Garcia live volume 1', live at the Capitol Theatre, NJ, March 1980.
This is a fantastic multi-track professional recording, arguably one of the best ever GL releases and a personal favourite of mine.
As this will sit in a case, unplayed, I have decided to sell it, and stick with my 3 CD version. The sound on this release is excellent and it is the best of JGB: The 15 minute Sugaree opener, epic versions, both vocally and instrumentally, of 'Simple twist of fate' and 'Russian Lullaby'. All songs, however, are very, very strong. Not a dud. Any collector who maybe missed this should bid as satisfaction will be guaranteed.
No major blemishes however, as per the last but one photo, the corners of the outer box appear to have faint, yet visible, finger style marks. They are only noticeable at close range. Apart from these marks, condition is excellent indeed! From smoke and pet free home.
Postage: Postage will be RM 48 hour tracked, @ £7.31. An invoice will be sent for the total amount payable. PRICE - The starting bid is currently about £25.00 cheaper than other versions for sale, on both Ebay and Discogs.
