Cut in 1958, this has Jerry at his rollicking best as well as some cool country styled tunes as well. It has a nice cover overall but it does have a small bump on the lower right hand corner as well as some wear/ring wear on the back cover. There is a previous owner's name written on the album as well BUT the cover is bright, tight and in very nice condition from the presentation side.
The vinyl holds true as well as it is in very nice condition. The labels are near perfect with the exception being a few spindle marks on side one. The vinyl retains practically all of the original gloss but has a few very light marks that dnap. The main concern on the vinyl are several blisters...on each side. Side one plays through in fine shape and on side 2 the song "Matchbox" where the most prominent blisters occur, the track will hang up. With added pressure the track plays through with absolutely no problem. Loud and strong as does the entire record. It is a nuisance rather than a problem but it is there. The audio quality is very nice as there is only the slightest of tics, etc between tracks...nothing distracting. I have the cover at a Strong VG and the vinyl which appears as practically unplayed at a Strong VG+.
I have owned this one for many years and never seen another one + I live in the area that one would think that they would be available so I consider it a pretty tough album to find and especially in this great condition.
