JERRY LEE LEWIS THE SUN YEARS
1983 Boxed UK 12 Record Set with 36 Page Book
This is an amazing 1-3/4 x 12-1/2 x 12-3/4 inch custom box containing TWELVE big 11-3/4 inch unplayed Sun Records in their original sleeves along with a 36-page 11-3/8 x 11-3/8 inch heavily illustrated soft cover book. The records must contain virtually everything Jerry Lee Lewis ever record at Sun Records between November 1956 and August 1963.
The book includes Lewis discography through 1982 and is filled with rare photographs of The Killer and Myra, his 13 year old wife that created such a sensation in England in 1958.
This set of records was marketed in England under the license from Sun International Corp of Nashville, Tennessee. I bought them in England in the mid 1980s and never played them. They recently resurfaced when we moved to a new house.
All the records and jackets appear to be in excellent condition. The original box is faded along the spine but is in very good used condition as you can see in our photos. We can’t imagine where any American collector could find another set like this.
