Description
This is the original Straight Albums release (STS 1052) from 1969 on Frank Zappa's label. This is the album Jerry Yester wrote after The Lovin' Spoonful broke up. He wrote most of the music, and Judy Henske wrote the lyrics. I've been unable to find out who the other musicians were who played on the album. I can tell you it's a strange album- lots of harpsichord playing and odd vocal arrangements. Like the cover, the music is very psychedelic. The album is a gatefold, with the lyrics printed on the inside covers. The executive producer was Zappa's business associate Herb Cohen.
This is a piece of musical history- a real oddity.
This record is in excellent condition- the vinyl has little surface noise. The cover has a cut out split on the upper left corner- see the pic. There is minimal ring wear. Of course, I have a 100% money guarantee if not satisfied- see my feedback.
