Description
This version of Tull's 1970 album is something of a collector's item, as very few were pressed on this particular label. I have included a copy of Record Collector's article on this pressing which states that some copies were pressed on the 'pink rim' Island label from November 1970, rather than the more common green Chrysalis label. This is the only copy of this pressing I have seen in 45 years of collecting. The catalogue number is ILPS 8123 and matrices are A3-U/B2-U.
Sleeve - Ex- Light ringwear only, in great shape.
Labels – Ex+ Very clean, few plays.
Inner sleeve - VG+ Original (?) plain white inner.
Record – Visually VG+, sleeve removal marks on both sides. Two tiny marks on Side 2 Track 1. Playback is Ex- overall. Light crackle here and there, a couple of pops right at the start of Side 2 Track 1 and at the start of Side 2 Track 5. Otherwise great audio.
I grade all records strictly using the 'Record Collector' guide.
