Description
JETHRO TULL – NOTHING IS EASY – RARE RED/BLUE SPLIT COLOR VINYL – TMOQ
Very unusual vintage Jethro Tull live LP issued by Trade Mark of Quality (TMOQ). This is the Nothing Is Easy release associated with TMOQ catalog no. 71030 and the JT-511 matrices.
The standout feature of this particular copy is the striking half-red / half-blue split-color vinyl. This is not the much more commonly encountered standard black-vinyl pressing, and even among colored TMOQ pressings, this split-color configuration is an unusual collector variant.
Dead-wax / matrix markings:
- Side 1: JT-511 A / 71395
- Side 2: JT-511 B / 71396
This is a live recording, which helps explain why the performances differ from the familiar studio recordings. The opening track is “Nothing Is Easy,” with other Jethro Tull classics including “Aqualung,” “Cross-Eyed Mary,” “Wind Up” and “Locomotive Breath.”
VINYL CONDITION:
The record is in exceptionally nice condition for its age. Vinyl appears very clean with no deep scratches observed. I personally play-tested the record and it played through without skipping. Please review the photographs carefully for the exact cosmetic condition.
COVER CONDITION:
The original-style plain sleeve shows considerable age, discoloration, staining and general wear, as shown in the photographs. It retains the JETHRO TULL “NOTHING IS EASY” stamped identification and the Trade Mark of Quality pig sticker. No attempt has been made to restore the vintage sleeve.
The jacket is in Poor condition with the top and bottom seams showing about an 8" opening.
PLEASE NOTE:
This is a vintage unofficial/collector recording and not a conventional commercially released Jethro Tull studio album. The unusual nature of the recording is part of its collectibility.
An especially interesting piece for a Jethro Tull, TMOQ, colored-vinyl or vintage underground-recording collector.
Please examine all photos carefully. You will receive the exact record and sleeve pictured.
