Description

This is an actual 1969 pressing of Jethro Tull's second album. The gatefold cover is in very good condition. It has three scuff marks on the front (about 1.5 inches in each case), but no significant edge wear. The rear has some very minor marks and a partial ring over the edge of the disc. It is Island record's ILPS 9103 Stereo. The runout lettering is ILPS 9103 + A and ILPS 9103 + B. The inside of the gatefold cover and the popup are like new but for two small tears (less than 0.5 inch) at the base of the popup.

The inner sleeve is clean and undamaged.

The disc has minimal marking and there is no significant surface noise, although there is one significant 'click' on Reasons For Waiting and a couple of minor ones at the start of Fatman. Otherwise, the disc plays perfectly.

Tracks are: A New Day Yesterday, Jeffrey Goes To Leicester Square, Bouree, Back To The Family, Look Into The Sun, Nothing Is Easy, Fat Man, We Used To Know, Reasons For Waiting, For A Thousand Mothers.

This was Martin Barre's first LP with them and his contribution is great.

A great opportunity to pick up a rarety.
