Ein Paradebeispiel dafür ist „Broadsword And The Beast”, das 1982 veröffentlichte 14. Studioalbum der Band aus dem britischen Luton. Zum 40. Geburtstag haben Jethro Tull nun eine 40th Anniversary Edition des Werkes angekündigt. „Broadsword And The Beast” zieht Fans mit seiner unverwechselbaren Mischung aus Rock, Folk und progressiven Einflüssen, meisterhaftem Storytelling und Ian Andersons unverwechselbaren Flötenmelodien bis heute in den Bann. Auch von der Kritik wurde das Album hochgelobt. Die Jubiläumsedition enthält neue Mixe von Steven Wilson, Demos, Rough Mixes, Live-Aufnahmen und Sessions aus dem Jahr 1981. Wer das Kompletterlebnis will, holt sich die „Monster Edition“ auf fünf CDs und drei DVDs, des Weiteren wird eine reguläre „Vinyl Edition“ auf 4LPs erscheinen. Die 40th Anniversary Editions von „Broadsword And The Beast” sind erhältlich ab 1. September
