FIRST PRESSING
Vinyl Condition: Very Good
Sleeve Condition: Very Good
I have graded the vinyl & sleeve according to the Goldmine Grading Guide. The vinyl is in really good condition, with only one very light scratch on Side Two which has no audible effect on the playback. The vinyl plays really well, with only some barely noticeable surface noise, but no crackles or pops. The existing noise could probably be reduced or eliminated by giving the vinyl a proper clean. The sleeve is in generally very good condition too, with only slight yellowing on the main outer cover, with more noticeable yellowing to the inner newspaper pages.
According to Discogs, this is the earliest UK issue, with the Island logo & radial text in white at the head of the labels. The 12-page newspaper gatefold-style sleeve has a heavyweight card construction of the record pocket, unlike later issues using a lighter card stock. Consequently, there is a noticeable paper weight difference between the 2 sleeve versions. The Chrysalis imprint appears on Page 12 (back of outer sleeve).
I have done my best to photograph the record and sleeve to show them accurately, however, if you do have any questions, or would like additional images, just drop me a message.
