Newspaper gatefold sleeve in remarkable condition . EX - ! Very near an excellent album presentation, which was renowned for its lower edge wear on fold of newspaper. Quite a fragile sleeve as the newspaper is only thin sheets of delicate paper manufacture, all unlaminated and subject to much handling and abuse. However, this gatefold is quite remarkable with minimal edge wear and no graffiti of any kind. Dot to dot and crossword unmarked . Only fault to be seen from the entire sleeve is minor wear on extreme edge of newspaper fold! Sheets of newspaper are crisp and ultra clean . Spine is square and solid ! Quite superb and impossible to locate in this commendable condition .

First issue green Chrysalis format with lower case “I” in mid top perimeter of label confirming THE very first pressing of this awesome Tull album release. Nr MINT condition with only two spindle traces .
Original patented sleeve in plain white and in ex condition.
Audio
First press with that scintillating EXTRA loud cut engineering. Tones radiate beautifully from these channels. A little static from the quieter parts/linking grooves (please note that there is still dust lifting from these delicate grooves)but the elaborate flute flurries and Tull’s fluctuating vocals are delivered in sensational style. Any surface disturbance is lost as the music rises far above any interference. At least a very good+, but a mostly excellent presentation of this magnificent Tull release. The odd tick heard very occasionally, where there is the faintest of scratching in a couple of areas, but nothing serious and a very pleasing listening experience.

Excellent sheen . Virtually unmarked against strong daylight! Thickly pressed and a delight to view.
Considered to be THE best of the Tull albums, released at the pinnacle of his very successful career .
A very collectable rock classic .
