Description
Jethro Tull. "This Was". Island ILP 985. Pink label with eye motif. Matrix: ILP 985A/B. Released in 1968. This is Jethro Tulls first and rarest record. And will proberly only get harder to comeby.
Sleeve is in VG condition. It is laminated (flipback) gatefold. The lamination is to the front and back only and is intact. There is a small tear to the bottom right corner of the inner sleeve. Some one has written a name and a date (1968) on the left inner sleeve. This does not affect the cover blurb. The spine has that extra length (boxed?) to it. It is intact but showing some minor corner wear.
The record is in VG+ condition. There are only a few surface marks and nothing major. I played this record before listing and there were no jumps/clicks or sticking. It will need a proper clean though. As it has that light film that old records get from sitting in the poly sleeve unplayed for so long.
The label is in EX condition, showing no real wear at all.
I'm as honest as I can be when grading. I will say if I have played the record, if not it will just be a visual check.
All records will be mailed in a proper record mailer. With the record outside the sleeve.
Any problems please contact me before leaving feedback. I will always leave feedback once feedback has been left.
I normaly have a low starting price but I know this record is very rare.
Cheers
