Hi folks,
Up for grabs is this 1958 Jett Powers 45rpm rockabilly single Go Girl Go / Teen Age Quarrel in good condition (this is an ORIGINAL 1958 Design pressing, not a later reissue). For those of you not in the know, 'Jett Powers' is actually one P.J Proby.. yes, THAT P.J Proby of pants-splitting fame hahaha! This is his first ever issued recording and a very fine rockabilly release with red-hot guitar to the fore and frantic Presley-esque vocal histrionics and hiccuping by Proby. Very fine sound indeed. This record is in good condition although there are numerous scuff marks and pop marks on the vinyl on both sides and the labels do present with with grubbiness on both sides, please refer to the photos for a closer view. The record however plays just fine with no skipping or jumping. Regardless of this particular record's faults, original Jett Powers singles very rarely come up for sale on the market so don't let this one pass you by.
The record has been bubble-wrapped and securely enclosed within a sturdy expandable mailer to ensure no damage in transit. Delivery cost to anywhere in Australia is $6.95 by Australia Post Small Parcels Delivery. A $1 materials surcharge is applicable to cover the cost of packing materials, please don't bid if you are not agreeable to this. Any two records from any of my record sales can be delivered for the cost of the price of one as two records will be just under the 500g weight limit for Small Parcels delivery. International bidders are also welcome to bid.
