In a well-documented event on February 5, 2013, these ATO Records white label promos were released individually by 50 independent music stores only, only one (1) per store, all hand signed by Jim James himself. MINT-NEAR MINT. Stunning Jim James' autograph bold across the heavy generic white sleeve. The shrink wrap was removed by a store clerk - other than that, this record is in brand new condition exactly as it was in the store. The only minor flaw in the sleeve is a very slight corner ding and a couple tiny creases at the edge of the cover (see photos) - I'm including these details so there are absolutely no questions about condition.
PLEASE READ - HANDWRITTEN PROMO STAMPS >>> The reverse side of the white label and the inside edge of the generic sleeve have handwritten notes by the record company in Sharpie that read "No eBay." This is akin to other types of promo stamps saying "Not for resale" and was likely intended to discourage the stores who received these promos from selling them. I did not include photographs of this in the listing to keep from scaring bidders away but am including these details for total disclosure so you are not surprised. Being applied by the record company, they are original to the brand new release and in no way affect the condition.
