I went back and looked at 'Sold' listings of this album and have decided to lower the price.
This is a great box set. It may say Polydor on it, but this is a Deutsche Grammophon release. I'm calling the outer box and outer sleeve near mint, because I don't tilt at windmills. The cellophane is still on the box, though the collection has been opened. Album sleeves look mint to me and the albums appear to have never been played.
To make more sense of this: my brother was a disc jockey and later a record store owner. I have counted over 90 Hendrix albums in his collection. Even better, in 1968 we went to our first concert - Jimi Hendrix Experience at Cincinnati Gardens. Once I finish this listing I will be putting up the same box set, only it's the Australian release - unopened.
This set says 12 LPs. However, Ladyland is a double album, so there's 11 albums, 12 LP records, PLUS the extended play EP disc of Gloria and Hey Joe on the B side. For more detailed information go to discogs.com and search Jimi Hendrix - Jimi Hendrix.
