Complete with rare 1st Press Orange Fold-Out Lyric Insert.
A Very Rare UK Mono 1st Press in good condition, vinyl, sleeve and insert in good condition.
I am fortunate to have in my possession a good example of the very rare 1967 Mono 1st Pressing "Axis: Bold As Love" by the Jimi Hendrix Experience (Jimi Hendrix, Noel Redding, Mitch Michell, produced by Chas Chandler).
This is the180 gram version of the LP featuring the much harder to get mono mixes of the album, mastered directly from the original mono master tapes.
This is the very first pressing with the rare double impressed ring around the centre hole – only the first few hundred copies are believed to have this. The vinyl is heavy and thick.
It is complete with paper sleeve and has the rare orange poster and lyric insert and is on the much sought-after Track Record Label (Jimi's 1st label in the UK). The centre labels have the correct matt black 1st press finish. It is the genuine 1967 UK mono 1st press.

Usually only found on later shiny re-issue Track labels or as a 1980's mid-budget priced double LP, this record is on the original 'matt textured' UK 1st press Track Record Mono labels. The labels are very good, with no damage at all, only light spindle lines. The centre spindle holes and gramophone rims are also very good.
The record is in good visual condition and plays well. It still retains original gloss and shine. There is no warping.
The David King & Roger Law designed original EJ Day flip back gatefold sleeve is in good condition with the exception of a two inch tear, minor creasing around the edges and a two inch spilt on the spine together with wear marks on edges and corners.
The orange poster and lyric insert is also in very good condition with no marks, creases or signs of wear, whatsoever. I believe this insert is rare and no more than 200 were made for the earliest pressings.
A very cool looking sleeve with beautiful psychedelic Hindu themed artwork – designed by David King and Roger Law, inner photographs of the band by Donald Silverstein.
The matt inner gatefold is also in good condition except for biro markings on the face of Mitch Michell. It has the correct Mono/Stereo text printed on the bottom right flip-back.
A worthy addition to any serious Hendrix collector.
