The Jimi Hendrix Experience: Axis: Bold as Love


Rare original 1967 1st UK stereo 13 track issue on Track Record, 613 003.

The stereo mix was finalised in Oct 1967 and there are noticeable differences between this stereo mix and the mono mix:

• Different vocal performance on „Castles in the sand“

• „One rainy wish“ with slightly different ending

• „EXP“ is longer with extended feedback at the end


Housed in the original front laminated internal flipback gatefold sleeve, with deep and rich colours, the laminate is clean with no lift or damage. Mild creasing only. The spine is undamaged and the internal flip backs are secure.

It has however the usual corner wear along the spine, so often seen with this album.

Hence the sleeve grades VERY GOOD PLUS. ( close EX)


The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition with visible hairline marks under close inspection under a bright light. The labels are clean and bright with very few spindle marks.

Matrix: 613003 A 1 1 123 and 613003 B 1 1 ??

The record has been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.


Stereo copies of this album are becoming increasingly hard to find. This is a nice copy, definitely a keeper.
