NM: Nominal sleeve scuffing, faint subtle marks - play's like a new record.
Retains 100% Value

VG+ :  Some scuffing and very light marks, very light scratches or very light surface wear to the record.
Very subtle surface noise and a few clicks or pops during silent periods.
Retains 75% Value

VG : The record may have marks, scratches or heavy scuffing that will be deep enough to feel.
             Surface wear is apparent and audible clicks and pops may be consistently present.
Retains 25% Value

VG- : This record has many defects and is sold as a substandard.

Japanese vinyl releases are premium quality pressings much sought after by 

audiophiles and collectors alike. In the 1960s Toshiba pioneered top quality 

red vinyl pressings using their trademark ‘Ever-CleanÂ’ process this utilised 

a special ingredient intended to prevent the build-up of static electricity on 

the vinyl.

Japanese pressings is considered to be among the best in the world and in 

addition they are beautifully presented their covers usually printed on better 

quality heavy stock paper and often including a bonus lyric insert with dual 

language Japanese & English text.
