Genuine UK 1st pressing of this 53 years old iconic album, which is defined by presence of the following:
- Laminated gatefold sleeve, with matt print edge strips exposed along the openings where the records are inserted.
- Laminated gatefold sleeve, inner white text with print credit centred.
- Hendrix portrait on right hand side as gatefold opened, small sepia images of Noel Redding & Mitchell on left hand side.
- Record sides produced in auto-coupled sequence: Sides A/D & B/C.
- Original inner sleeve(s), British Patent No. 800513 & 973939. "MADE IN ENGLAND"
Condition:
**VINYL HAS BEEN RECENTLY CLEANED USING ULTRASONIC CLEANING MACHINE**
Gatefold Sleeve: VG. Signs that it was played & handled by the previous owner, who took good care of it. Light ring wear present. Slightly turned up / worn corners with edges that may include some feathering, discolouration, small creases / light scratches. Laminate generally well in tact with some minor lift lines locally but overall retains very good colour definition & sheen.
Inner sleeve(s) / inserts: Only one original present (VG) with some discolouration, edge wear & signs of a split developing down one side. Second non-original sleeve provided.
Vinyl Side A: G. Noticeable signs that it was handled & well played by the previous owner. Obvious scratch present across first few tracks as evident in photographs. Playback suggests ticks will occur here but did not cause to skip. Otherwise visible light surface scuffs, scratches & groove wear present with surface noise & crackling evident upon playback. Presence of some spindle marks.
Vinyl Side B: VG. Noticeable signs that it was handled & well played by the previous owner, but still retains some lustre. Visible light surface scuffs, scratches & groove wear present with surface noise & crackling evident upon playback. Presence of some spindle marks.
Vinyl Side C: G+. Noticeable signs that it was handled & well played by the previous owner, but still retains some lustre. Visible light surface scuffs, scratches & groove wear present with surface noise & crackling evident upon playback. Presence of some spindle marks.
Vinyl Side D: VG. Noticeable signs that it was handled & well played by the previous owner, but still retains some lustre. Visible light surface scuffs, scratches & groove wear present with surface noise & crackling evident upon playback. Presence of some spindle marks.
