Description

DESCRIPTION: The Jimi Hendrix Experience LP- Electric Ladyland. In fully laminated EJ Day gatefold sleeve. White print. Black/silver Track labels. Very early UK pressing. Matrix numbers ending A1/A1/B1/A1. Side A and D are on the same disc so you could play B after A in the old days!! It has 2 different white inners, 1 poly lined. this was how it was when i got it. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Track 613009 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1968 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/G/G/VG/VG. Vinyls are very clean with a decent sheen and some surface lines . Visually side A is VG, D is G (more noticable surface lines), B is VG and C is G (more noticable surface marks. Ive played this in its entirety on my Pro-ject deck today. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Overall audio wise its generally near EX. Side A and D actually play EX, C and B are VG. There are no jumps, sticks or repetetive clicks. Very little surface sound. I think it still sounds fantastic actually, mind- bending. Cover just makes VG and is firm and square with moderate edgewear and heavy cornerwear and creasing. Small (1") strip of laminate/print missing near centre spine/front cover)Clean labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. This was my own copy until a recent upgrade. It is what it is, a presentable very early UK pressing of one of the greatest Lps of all time. It aint the prettiest vinyl but it still sounds great. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER JIMI HENDRIX and CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. EACH EXTRA 12" LP- UK £1.00 ( I CAN SEND 4-7 SINGLE DISC LPS IN THE UK FOR £5.41 STANDARD PARCELS) , EUROPE £1.50, AMERICAS £2.75 REST OF WORLD £2.95. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades.
