I will detail how to know you have a first pressing Electric Ladyland!!!
1) Coupled Disc's.
Side 1: A / D
Side 2: B / C
2) Matrix Numbers:
Side A: 61300##8 A//1 12 10
Side D: 61300#8 B//1 12 13
Side B: 61300#9 A#//1 12 2
Side C: 613009 B (etched by hand) #######//1 1 5
Only the first pressing had these altered matrix numbers!!!!
3) Blue Text on the in side of the gatefold!!!
4) Large photographs of Mitch and Noel on the inside of the gatefold!!!
LP:
All sides have plenty of sleeve removal marks, along with scuffing and some heavier markings. On side A there is a 10mm circular mark which causes noise.
Having played all sides in full they are still a pleasure to listen to, there is crackle and light pops with some clicks.
There are no sticks, hops or jumps on any of the sides. The disc's would benefit from a professional clean.
The audio playback is Very Good - overall.
Please note this is NOT a Mint - or NM or EX+ and will not become one of the grades. This copy is a decent playing copy until a minty one comes along! Any version of this is rare these days and is becoming harder to find.
Gatefold:
Original E.J Day 1st Pressing Blue Text laminated gatefold cover with the Hendrix on the right and the large photographs of Noel and Mitch. The spine has wear at the two ends and middle on the out side, as well as the in side spine. The gatefold still opens and works as it should function.
There are laminate creasing on the front and in side as well as ring wear. There is some edge wear from general storage.

Two poly lined inner sleeves.
