Background

This was part of a group of records I aquired from the 1960s. The original owner had decided to place each record into a sturdy brown cardboard holder and then proceed to cut up the original cover and stick it onto the cardboard cover. This 1st pressing of Electric Ladyland has the 'Nude' Gatefold outer part of the cover intact and has the blue track listing as a separate piece of the cover. The matrix number on side C had been scored through and then re-entered by hand. It had originally been 613008. It looks like even the manufacturer was confused by the configuration of sides. (Record 1 sides A & D, Record 2 sides B & C)

I would grade this record as Excellent when graded using the Record Collector grading system. There are a few very very faint surface scratches but nothing that affects playing.

This record would suit anyone who has a good quality cover or who just wants the music for musics sake.
