Description

Electric Ladyland The Jimi Hendrix Experience.  1968  Cover very good/excellent, white inner sleeves excellent. Discs excellent/near mint.  I can vouch for the care that has been taken in looking after this album - it belonged to my brother who was fanatical about the condition of his records. The discs look in brilliant condition, lovely flat and shiny vinyl with perfect labels and no marks or wear around the spindle holes. No scuffs or scratches or marks of any kind on the discs that I can see. Cover - no splits or cracks on spine. 2 half-moon creases  in the laminate from removing the record from its sleeve and slight opening of the sleeves from use. It is apparently well known that the lamination process used on this album was rather poor so this cover is very good+/excellent.   No chips or wear to the white sleeves.  Nice shiny vinyl. In excellent/near mint condition. This is an early UK  issue and is auto-coupled, as Disc 1. Sides A/D & Disc 2. Sides B/C.      Only played a few times on high quality equipment and has been untouched for 30 years or more.  I have not played them or cleaned them so as not to do the wrong thing! Open Gatefold: Sepia images of Redding & Mitchell on left (Front cover behind it), with white tracks/credit text below them. "Track Record" logo centre,  E.J.Day print data to right. Hendrix portrait on right-hand side (Back cover behind it).  The poly-lined white paper punch-hole sleeves have Made in England /48 /119 Defect in matrix stamping on this early issue, altered by hand. This is how:  Side A: 61300 the 8 is scratched out  and 8 A//1 added. Side D:  61300  the 8 is scratched and 8 B//1  added. Side B:  61300 the 9 is scratched out and  9A//1 added  Side C:  has the whole number scratched out  except A//1 is left and  613009  B added.   I do hope this is all clear -please ask if not.   Cover spread has 'unwrapped/floating' gloss laminate applied, matt print areas left exposed at the two cut edges where the albums insert.I understand that the lamination on Track issues is poor, leaving exposed print on the two opening edges and around all four edges of the inside spread. Bubbling, creasing & de-lamination also occurred and 'perfection' is an unlikely find - until the improved process on Polydor issues. This copy has very little apparent wear and is as good condition as you will find anywhere.  Very shiny vinyl. In great condition. Nice and flat and no wear around spindle holes.  Only played a few times on high quality equipment.   This 3rd and final album by "The Jimi Hendrix Experience" was first released in September 1968 in the USA on 'Reprise Records' and October 1968 on 'Track Record' in the UK. Better  'hi-fidelity' qualities found on the UK issue.  I hope the photos will give you any further information,  I have tried to cover all relevant details but I am happy to answer any questions.  I will certainly do my best.  I always pack my ebay items very carefully and safely.  I only charge for P & P at cost and often find I have undercharged, I do not aim to profit from Royal Mails charges! I would prefer to send this item by Royal Mail Special Delivery which would be at cost.
