Description
The Jimi Hendrix Electric Experience - Electric Ladyland
Album: Electric Ladyland UK 1st Press Blue 'Ghost Text' Withdrawn Version Label: Track Record ?– 613008/9
The records are well played, with some minor scratches. The record plays well though with no jumping. The record wobbles when playing. The sleeve is not in great condition, the picture of Jimi Hendrix has been removed (cut out apparently). The spine is battered to say the least. It is very well worn. Please see images for items condition. But...
This is a genuine 1st pressing of The Jimi Hendrix Experience with blue text and rare 'Ghost Text' sleeve that has a completely different track list that never made release. Sometimes known as the ghost text version, cover has blue text track listing but underneath the blue text a different track order to the album can be seen. I have tried to show this on the photos.
Different track order is as follows:
A1 Still Raining Still Dreaming A2 House Burning Down A3 All Along The Watchtower A4 Voodoo Chile B1 Rainy Day, Dream Away B2 1983 (A Merman, I Should Turn To Be) B3 Moon Turns The Tides C1 And The Gods Made Love C2 Electric Ladyland C3 Crosstown Traffic C4 Voodoo Chile (Slight Return) D1 Little Miss Strange D2 Long Hot Summer Night D3 Come On D4 Gipsy Eyes D5 Burning Of The Midnight Lamp
Correct Tracklist (In Blue): A1 And The Gods Made Love A2 Electric Ladyland A3 Crosstown Traffic A4 Voodoo Chile B1 Little Miss Strange B2 Long Hot Summer Night B3 Come On B4 Gipsy Eyes B5 Burning Of The Midnight Lamp C1 Rainy Day, Dream Away C2 1983 (A Merman I Should Turn To Be) C3 Moon Turns The Tides....Gently Gently Away D1 Still Raining Still Dreaming D2 House Burning Down D3 All Along The Watchtower D4 Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)
Happy to post internationally.
Happy Bidding.
