Description

Ok here is Electric Ladyland on Track Records more details of the actual version below but first I will talk about the condition of the discs.

There are no huge scratches but there is a lot of background noise , crackling and clicking and some swishing noise that comes as the disc spins.

Crackling at the start of each side and on the quieter passages of 1983 and Voodoo Chile, crackling on Little Miss Strange, Long Hot Summer Night, Come On and Gypsy Eyes. Midnight Lamp is ok. Crackling on Still Raining, House Burning but Watchtower and Voodoo Chile sound great.

So this is far from perfect but it plays through without any skips and jumps. I have played it on my Thorens with Ortofon cartridge and Cambridge amp .

The discs would certainly benefit from a clean but I do not have the equipment to do it myself.

The sleeve is not in bad condition , there is some damage to the laminate at the top of the back of the cover(see pics), the spine is sound , there is some creasing but not too much . Have look at the pics.

Some more details of the specific release

Gatefold naked women , full laminated sleeve inside and out, white titles on the inside.

Labels are not written as ABCD but Part 1 Side 1-2 with different track listing, please see images of labels . Track B2 is written 1983…… on the label and 1983 on the sleeve.
