Description
Up for sale is a copy of Jimi Hendrix's Electric Ladyland Vinyl LP from 1968 featuring the rare original cover that was banned in many record shops back in the late 60s. This belonged to my late father who had a pretty extensive vinyl collection which I will be going through gradually so check my listings.
Unfortunately I do not have a record player to test the vinyl so I will do my best to describe the condition visually. I won't be using the standard grading systems as I really don't have enough experience in vinyl and would not want to mislead someone. Please keep this in mind when purchasing and be sure to check out the images for a better idea of condition. Any questions feel free to ask and I will be happy to help wherever I can. Sleeve has shelf wear, some damage, and laminate is lifting in places. Gatefold has some damage to the actual fold and sleeves seem to be generic with some discolouration. Well played copy. Vinyl both have non-deep scratches and feather marks as well as needle scuffs, one of the scratches can be felt with a nail. Records will definitely need a clean and I am not comfortable doing this as I really don't have the experience or tools. Not what I would call a collector's copy but a great chance to own the album with the rare cover at a heavily discounted price. May have pipe tobacco odour as the item belonged to my late father who smoked a pipe.
