Description

This is a rare and valuable piece for any Jimi Hendrix fan. The Electric Ladyland vinyl LP is a first pressing from 1968, with the original cover. The record is a black 12" LP, featuring psychedelic rock, classic rock, 1960s, and hard rock music. The LP is in good condition.

Firstly, a warning. Please do not buy this if you think that you are going to get a really good copy of this album. You are not. This is the first UK press but the inside of the gatefold cover is badly damaged as you can see from the photos. The front and rear of the cover are intact but significantly creased. The original inner sleeves are missing so it will come with 2 new white paper inners. All 4 sides of the vinyl have many scratches, please see the next paragraph for a description during playback.


On playing the album, Sides A, B & C all have plenty of crackling all through and the odd click, but there are no skips or jumps. Side D again has plenty of crackling and there are also some skips during tracks 1 & 3.


I am starting this at a low auction price as I honestly don’t know what the actual value would be. I have used the Discogs grading system for this vinyl.
