Description
This is the classic Hendrix record that everyone should own. This is a genuine first pressing from 1968, and can be identified as such by the photos of Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell being larger than on later pressings and the insert writing being in blue. As with other earlier pressings the matrix numbers are upside down. This was only apparent on the early Track record pressings. Their condition, as can be seen is superb. The vinyl is unmarked with neither a pop or click when played on my LP12. They are still shiny with no scratches. The sleeve has some slight creasing but no tears or writing on it, and is of the controversial 'Nude Ladies' taken by EJ Day. The laminate is still perfectly intact. The inner sleeves are also original and again in perfect condition with no tears or writing on them. They only slightly discoloured, but they are from 1968!!! As stated this is a genuine first pressing, and would make a great present for a collector, or fan alike. The sound from these records is hard to believe, as the quality of the vinyl from that era was better than what we get today. I have tried to descibe these lp's as best as i can, and although I have not graded them officially I am sure they would much up with Record Collectors following gradings: Vinyl: Excellent/mint Sleeve: Good condition/excellent Any questions please feel free to email me.
