Jimi Hendrix Experience .. 8 LP Boxset ..MINT UNOPENED !!! ...This extremly lush and very limited Vinyl boxed set is as fresh as the day it left the factory , its still in its original stickered shrinkwrap , with 56 unreleased or unavailable recordings , a 40 page full colour book filled with rare photos , Each album is pressed on 180g virgin vinyl in seperate Album jackets with artwork. The text on the box is embossed silver writing , and the picture on the front has a gold metalic sheen to it.

The purple paisley design used as the main design on the main body of the box is of "flock" textured design.

This box set is officially released thru the Hendrix family estate and is 100% legit. Unlike other compilations that have appeared thru the years real care and attention has gone into choosing the track listing through-out this titanic set , all tracks are alternate versions or live versions. This set was NOT designed to appeal to the casual Hendrix fan , but aimed towards the dye-hard fan of his body of work , if your knowledge of Jimi ends at being able to whistle "Hey Joe" then this may prove to be a bit too "heavy" for your tastes. If however your knowledge stretches a bit futher then this could be the baby for YOU !!! ........

The Box Set consists of: Rare alternate takes of Hendrix classics such as Purple Haze, Hey Joe, Stone Free and a powerful instrumental version of Little Wing Unique interpretations of songs by his favourite artists, including Sgt.Pepper, Like A Rolling Stone and Johnny B Goode Fine live recordings made in Paris, Stockholm, Maui, Los Angeles, Monterey and The Isle Of Wight The lavish box is covered in purple velvet imported from France The unpublished front cover photo is printed on holographic paper, and the Hendrix logo is made of gold foil and heat stamped onto the front of the box Each 180g LP comes in its own colour sleeve with rare pics and track listings The 12 x 12" 40page colour booklet contains rare photos by Linda McCartney, Karl Ferris and Dave Sygall
