Description
From my personal collection: Up for auction is a Canadian first pressing of the Jimi Hendrix Experience's "Are You Experienced?" album.
This is the stereo version released by Reprise in the spring of 1967. It come with the iconic tri-color Reprise label (a black label variation also exists). Catalogue no. is RS 6261, matrix no. ACR-RS-6261 A 30681.
Please have a look at the pictures---both cover and vinyl are in stunning condition. There's almost no visible wear, the heavy vinyl is nice and shiny, and the sleeve doesn't look like what you would expect from a 50 year old copy. It will be quite impossible to find a better copy. (Please note: On the front cover it might look as if there was a bit of rubbing/ringwear where the purple lettering "Are You Experienced" is--this is no wear, it's part of the artwork. Everything perfect down there.) Original plain white inner sleeve is included.
I grade conservatively:
Vinyl: EX+ to NM
Cover: NM
Inner Sleeve: NM
Record ships from Germany. I only use special mailing boxes with edge and corner protection. Registred and insured airmail is £8.50 worldwide.
