The Jimi Hendrix Experience - 'Are You Experienced'

Track - 612 001 - UK 1967 - 1st Press Mono

Vinyl / Sleeve: Poor/G+

Matrix: (a) 612001  A?1   1 1 7

             (b) 612001  B?1   1 7 1

Vinyl: Good +

This mono first press record has been cleaned and play checked. The good news is that in spite of many surface marks, this plays through remarkably well with no skips or loud clicks hence a Good+ grading. However, there is surface noise evident in the track intervals and through quiet passages - eg quiet bluesy track ' Red House' and there are frequent tics throughout play but these aren't particularly noticeable as most are beneath the music. The playing surface has many surface scratches - too many to go into detail about, though none appear to be deep. Most lines look like stylus skate lines from just being treated carelessly. The vinyl looks probably closer to good or good (-) and it's clear from the worn surface and the spindle wear on the label that this has received tons of play. Nevertheless, it's a playable copy that packs plenty of punch - as long as you aren't expecting playback to be excellent.

Sleeve: Poor

This front laminated sleeve is in a bit of a state - it's worst feature being the 7" seam split along the spine which no longer has any print remaining. There is edgewear on top and bottom, and rubbed one inch surfaces in the middle of top and bottom, which fortunately hasn't worn through. There are also short seam splits towards the sleeve opening at the top and bottom. There is some wrinkling in the laminate, and a couple of stickers on the back.

Side One: Foxy Lady / Manic Depression / Red House / Can You See Me / Love Or Confusion / I Don't Live Today

Side Two: May This Be Love / Fire / 3rd Stone From The Sun / Remember / Are You Experienced

Combined postage offered to UK destinations ONLY. I'll send an invoice if you've bought more than one record.

International shipping is with eBay's Global Shipping Program (GSP) and combined postage is not available. It may appear expensive, and delivery may take a few extra days, but I'm sorry, it's the only international shipping option I offer.
