Jimi Hendrix Experience Are You Experienced UK LP 1967

You are undoubtedly aware that you are bidding on a very rare LP (especially in this condition) by The Jimi Hendrix Experience called 'Are You Experienced'.  This is an ORIGINAL 1967 UK 1st MONO Pressing.  This is the best record in my collection.  I am the original and sole owner of this record, having acquired it new in 1967.  As far as I can tell, this is the VERY 1st Pressing with A1/B1 matrix endings stamped on the record.   The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is 612 001 on the 1st Press Track label (see picture).

All the tracks are pure quality Jimi Hendrix Experience at their best.  Any fan of The Jimi Hendrix Experience, or 60s music in general, will want to have this record in his collection.

The record labels themselves are in stunning condition (see picture) with no wear,no writing, and only a few very light spindle marks which are difficult even to see.  The vinyl is in GREAT condition.   Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. Since this record has belonged to me from the very beginning,  I can attest that this record has been babied, caressed and given excellent care throughout its existence.  There are no scratches, 3 or 4 hairlines, 2 or 3 light scufflines, and only a very few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light.  The record still has a new look to it.  The record plays as well as it looks with no distortion, no groovewear, no sticking, no jumps, no hiss and barely any crackle.  My guess is that with a good cleaning, this record would play as new.  Very conservatively speaking, this record should grade Very Good+ to excellent if not better.    

The E.J.Day 1st Press 'Patents Pending' Cover is in terrific condition.  It has no edge wear, only some typical light spinal wear (no splits), minor corner wear, only a few small light corner type creases as shown in the upper left hand corner of the picture(cover is still flat looking - no long creaselines, and no creaselines across the cover).  I have written my name and placed a small return address sticker on the back of the cover. There is no laminate lifting.  The opening edge is beautifully straight with no feathering.  Even the unlaminated back is in wonderful condition with no spots, stains or writing (except as noted above).
