I do not sell copies. I am an honest dealer with good feedback and describe my listings as accurately as possible. If you have any enquiries about my listings, please contact me. Some feedback suggests my gradings are too low but I prefer to be a little strict rather than exaggerate!
THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE - AXIS : BOLD AS LOVE. FIRST PRESS, LAMINATED GATEFOLD SLEEVE. TRACK 612003. MONO 1967. MATRIX 612 003 A ? 1 ; 612 003 B ? 1. RARE INSERT LYRIC SHEET. VG+ SLEEVE, EX. DISC.
SLEEVE:
The Laminated Gatefold sleeve is in VG+ condition for its age. It has slight wear to the corners and the top loading edge where the disc is inserted. There are no stuck on labels or stickers obviously removed and the sleeve is clean and shiny outside. The inside of the gatefold is unlaminated but clean with no marks or stains. The black and white photos are very clear and bear no signs of fading. The white text and labels on a black background are clear and easy to read. The Track logo and record numbers are present as are the E J Day credits. There is a small seam split at the back top edge which I hardly noticed at first.
RARE INSERT LYRIC SHEET:
The Lyric Sheet is often missing, but this disc has the original sheet in excellent condition with the red printing on an orange background. A couple of light creases and the original fold in the centre. Very clean extra!
LABELS:
The labels have the silver print and logo on a matt black background. Track Records large symbol present. All of the track listings and identification numbers etc. are very clean and unworn. Some very light spindle wear.
TEST PLAYING:
I test played this twice on High End Naim amplifiers, Kef Foundry Reference speakers, and an Audio Concept deck. In my opinion it was excellent! There were no mistracks, warping, jumps or skips, loud pops etc.. There was some very light surface noise detected between tracks but the vocals are very clear. Good separation of instruments and drums. Bells and xylophone on Side 2, track 6 are surprisingly good. There are some hairline marks/scratches from cleaning and handling but nothing that really detracted from the music or vocals and I though the disc is excellent rather than just VG+ on playing.
I will be using a Professional wet solution / hoover type Deep GrooveCleaning machine before sending, and provide a new replacement card inner sleeve and anti-static inner sleeve for your choice. I do not have the original inner sleeve. The gatefold sleeve will have a new plastic cover. I will pack well with reinforced cardboard and a cardboard record case for protection. Postage is by Signed for process.
