Sleeve Condition: VG+ / Media Condition: EX
  Sleeve has some light scuffing along opening edge and some tape residue to top edge inside gatefold but is free from splits or other serious faults (see photos). 
Visually the vinyl is very clean and retains much of its original gloss appearance.  There are some faint surface marks to be seen but no serious scratches. The marks seem to be more likely caused by friction with the sleeve than anything else and all the signs would seem to indicate this record has been looked after and has not suffered any mistreatment.
After cleaning the record and play testing the vinyl (over room speakers NOT headphones) the record was found to perform as expected and there were no sticks or jumps on either side. In view of the absence of surface scratches there were no loud clicks on play through either which is as we expected - a couple of light pops were noted at one point but nothing serious. The record does have some background crackle as might be expected for an item now nearly 50 years old, but I would describe this as light and not particularly obtrusive for the most part. There is some quite noticeable surface crackle during track fade out and while running the dead wax between tracks but during the music there is very little that gets in the way of the sound that I could hear apart from some occasional static. 
We have tried to be as honest as we can with regard to quality and while not perfect, this is still one of the best examples of this album we have seen in a long time. Please be aware that grading of EX indicates that the record plays with 'very little lessening in sound quality' - but that still means there is SOME lessening of quality. An EX album is not going to be like new so please take into account the above comments and feel free to ask any additional questions BEFORE you buy.

GRADING: All of our records are graded using the standard UK Record Collector Grading system as follows:

• MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
• EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
• VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
• GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
• FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
• POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
• BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.

POSTAGE AND PACKING: Items will be sent in strong protective packing, using purpose designed mailers where possible. We take care to make sure that the vinyl and inner bag are always removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits, and the vinyl itself will be placed in a soft plastic cover to protect it during transit.
