Catalogue Number: Track Record 613 003 with vinyl matrix numbers A-1 and B-1
Overall Grade: VG+/EX : Includes ULTRA RARE insert. Gatefold Stereo LP.
Condition:
-Record: EX condition. The LP spindle wear indicates a few plays, and has a minor scratch to the sticker on side 2, but the LP plays as a Mint- with none of the crackle, pop and hiss normally associated with examples of this LP. Both sides are completely scratch free and both have hardly been played.
-Outer Sleeve: VG+ condition. The front's thickly laminated coating is ultra-glossy and the psychedelic colours haven’t faded one bit. There is slight creasing to the edges of the laminate. Other than that both the inside and outside are in very good condition. The corners are only very slightly rounded, and the spine is still sharp, which is a rare for a record like this.
-Inner Sleeve: VG+ condition: The inner sleeve is in very good condition, with only minor yellowing on one edge due to age, and very minor creasing.
-Lyrics Poster: VG++ condition: The poster is in near perfect condition, with no creasing and no pinholes and no sellotape, writing, tears etc. It is unknown how many of these were printed but is believed to be the same as the ''1968 Who Sell Out'' LP of 500 for a Mono LP & 500 for the Stereo LP. Given the numbers that were removed and stuck on a wall this is indeed rare!
Details: This is the Jimi Hendrix Experience – Axis: Bold As Love 1967 Stereo LP, including the ULTRA RARE lyrics poster. This was found in my late Grandad’s vinyl collection, which has been stored away for the past 40 years.
The LP was originally mixed in Stereo with amazing panning and other effects and is 20 times rarer than the 612 003 Mono version which was mixed down to Mono from the Stereo version. Stereo 1st pressings of ''Axis'' are extremely rare! Including the ultra-rare insert this is an amazing opportunity to buy a VERY RARE record in such good condition.
